Three great questions to ask about your product release according to AI

Coming up with questions to ask users can be a bit of a process. With many items to consider such as:

  • which aspect of the release to cover
  • the type of insight you wish to learn
  • the interviewees individual abilities, preferences, skills, and experience with your product

Devising the perfect set of questions is an exercise in writing, testing, rewriting — a process as similar as the building the product itself. Fortunately, we can use AI to give as a solid starting point, so we asked our smart new AI coworker to give us a hand. For this exercise, we asked this question:

What are three simple questions that I can ask users to determine how my previous product release went?

We went with three questions because that’s how many questions can be comfortably answered within five minutes while allowing respondents to elaborate on their answers.

Here’s what it came up with:

Conclusions

The questions AI provided are solid and stays focused on a single category, so whether you’re focused on measuring how well your release is being received, or evaluating a certain area of the UI, or trying to determine if a group of users’ issues are resolved, these sets of questions can be used as a template. It also has a good mix of multiple-choice type questions, which are great for comparing results against everyone else who was asked the same question. Paired with a follow up, “can you please elaborate?” and you’ll be able to dig into their answers.
